Angel Crespo is a senior aerospace and defense executive with more than 28 years of experience leading engineering, operations, manufacturing, program management, and business growth initiatives across the commercial aerospace and defense sectors. Throughout his career, he has held executive leadership roles supporting the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, commercial aerospace customers, and international partners, with responsibility for multi-billion-dollar portfolios, large-scale operations, and complex technical organizations.

Beginning his career as a mechanical engineer focused on missile and aerospace systems, Angel progressed through leadership positions in engineering, manufacturing, site operations, and program management. He has led major production facilities, strategic modernization efforts, facility activations, and high-profile defense programs while managing large workforces, customer relationships, and profit-and-loss responsibility.

Angel has also played a key role in business capture and growth, contributing to the successful award of major defense contracts and leading programs valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. His executive experience includes serving as Vice President of Engineering for L3Harris’ Space Sector, where he led approximately 3,500 engineers supporting national security, intelligence, and space missions.
Today, Angel serves as Vice President of Operations and Engineering for Aerojet Rocketdyne’s Missile Solutions business, overseeing manufacturing, supply chain, quality, safety, and engineering functions across a workforce of more than 7,700 employees supporting a $4 billion business segment. Under his leadership, the organization has improved operational performance, delivery execution, and financial results following the company’s acquisition.

Beyond his professional achievements, Angel is a passionate advocate for STEM education, workforce development, and community engagement. He has served as an adjunct professor, executive sponsor for university recruiting initiatives, and mentor to emerging engineering and business leaders throughout his career.
