More About Vince

Vince Stammetti assumed the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of BlueForge Alliance in October of 2024..
Prior to joining BlueForge, Vince was the Senior Vice President of CACI’s Maritime, Engineering, Technology & Readiness business unit where he was responsible for the firm’s Professional Services programs serving the Navy and other Maritime customers.   
 
Before joining CACI, Vince was the Chief Operating Officer at Fincantieri  Marine Group, Marinette Marine where he was responsible for the shipyard’s execution of the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), Saudi Arabian Multi Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) and Constellation Class Frigate Programs including design, engineering, procurement, construction, and delivery of these ships. 

Vince’s experience includes executive business leadership roles in the shipyard, component supplier and services sectors of the U.S. Maritime Industrial Base.  He led Serco’s Maritime Engineering, Technology and Sustainment Professional Services business unit, where he oversaw all aspects of the firm’s offeringsincluding Program and Financial Management, Ship Design, Engineering, Construction, Maintenance and Modernization.  Other roles include Vice President and General Manager of DRS’ Power and Control Technologies (PCT) division based in Milwaukee, WI. There, he was responsible concept developmentthrough in-service support of shipboard electrical distribution and power conversion equipment fielded aboard U.S. and allied
Naval vessels including submarines, aircraft carriers, large deck amphibious shipsand surface combatants.  As the General Manager of BAE’s shipyards in Jacksonville and Mayport FL, hewas responsible for the ship repair and modernization operations of two shipyards and more than 1,200 employees. Prior to BAE, Vince held the position of Naval Program Director with Sayres and Associates Corporation, where he directly supported the Navy’s DDG 1000 program office.  He started his industry career at Lockheed Martin (LM) in the ship integration division and then became the first Design & Production Director for the Freedom variant of the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship, LCS 1. 

Prior to his industry roles, Vince had a distinguished 20-year career in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Commander in 2001. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy, served as a Surface Warfare Officer and later transitioned to the Navy’s Engineering Duty Officer (EDO) Community. Vince completed his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School. As an EDO, Vince’s assignments included a qualification tour at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard where he qualified as Nuclear & Non-Nuclear Ship Superintendent and Docking Officer.  He spent the latter half of his career in PMS 400, the AEGIS Program office where he served at SUPSHIP Bath, Maine as the Arleigh Burke (DDG 51)Production Manager and later in Washington, DC as the DDG 51 Post Delivery Manager and C4ISR Warfare Area Manager.  He served as Chief of Staff for DRPM, AEGIS.  He is DAWIA Level III Certified in Program Management, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering.
He has been married to his wife Katie for 43 years.  Vince’s hobbies include fishing, golf and travel.
