More About Freeman

Freeman brings over two decades of executive leadership experience driving engineering and operational excellence across the defense industrial base. Most recently, he served as Ordnance Site Leader at Armtec Defense Technologies, where he directed a 300+ employee 24/7 manufacturing operation. He led high-impact initiatives during his tenure, including a recent notable significant capacity expansion that increased artillery production rate by several times in under 18 months, enabling accelerated fulfillment of hundreds of millions in orders while achieving perfect on-time delivery for several consecutive years.

Earlier in his career, Freeman served as Vice President of Research and Development at Sceptor Industries, pioneering bio-aerosol detection technologies for the U.S. Postal Service Biological Detection System, and held engineering leadership roles at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant under Alliant Techsystems, managing production exceeding 350 million small-caliber ammunition rounds annually. He holds a Master’s degree in Operations Management from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Freeman maintains an active DoD SECRET clearance.
